Picture catch up

Because we lost our camera cord I have a so many pictures that I want to post. I can only upload 5 at a time. So make sure you read and look at all the new posts!

If the Grandparents are wondering what we do with all of the money that they send to the boys for birthdays and holidays here is your answer. We have 2 new pets, hermit crabs. I have no idea how I get talked into things like this. No names yet.
Easter we spent in DC with Lance and family. It allowed Garett to study without distractions for his last weekend before his big test. This is Spencer with his eggs. We hide 137 eggs. The boys had a blast finding them. Especially Preston who found at least half of the eggs. He was a man on a mission. However, he was more then willing to share his finding, he just loved the hunt.
This is Preston with his very full basket. The weird face is because of the sun in his eyes. I told you the kid has very sensitive eyes.
He ran from one egg to another. Missing so many that were right by him.
This is where Grandma and Mallory spent most of their time together. Usually both were asleep not just Mallory. I was really worried that she wouldn't want to sleep by herself when Grandma left then she got sick right after Grandma left and I ended up holding her most of the time just because I was so worried about her. It is taking her some getting use to but she is sleeping in her crib. She misses Grandma though.

Picture Posts

My brother has twins and a little while ago my sister in law posted about how her twins wanted to dress the same so that they could confuse their parents like on Parent Trap the movie. The funny part is they look nothing alike- one has red hair and the other brown for starters. I showed the boys the blog and explained it to them. So when our friend gave us some clothes that had a matching shirt to one of the ones Preston already had, my boys decided they would dress the same to confuse us. They almost look more like twin then their cousins do. Which one is Preston?
When Preston was first born I heard about a girl who took a picture of her son everyday so that she could see the changes. I thought that everyday was a bit much but every week was doable. We haven't been perfect but pretty close to taking a picture every week since Preston was born and continued with Spencer and now with Mallory. Most of the time I get them by themselves but sometimes I don't have time and I get a group shot. Sometimes if we did something during the week in which I took pictures of them then I count those as their weekly shot. I usually take their pictures on Sunday right before church when they look the best. Here are their pictures from 2 weeks ago. Mallory's first time going to church.

We have a picture with each of our kids and Salta right around the time they are born. It is the only time they are the same size as her.

Mallory's Blessing

Mallory's Blessing was kind of a last minute thing. I wanted her to be blessed while my daddy was still here. Thankfully, Lance and Family made the last minute trip plus add some of our friends from here and it was a nice blessing! Mallory was a week old. The whole family wore purple for her special day. My kids are so cute.

Three generation Picture. Now would be a great time to Thank my Mommy and Daddy for coming out here to help. My Mom will never know how valuable she was to me during her month long stay. I would never have made it. Thanks. The best part about my mom and dad coming out was that my boys got lots and lots of time with their grandparents. They didn't have to share them with any of their cousins, they are constantly talking about them and saying how much them miss them. They love silly grandpa and girl grandpa!!!
Preston has super sensitive eyes so the sun really bothers him. Spencer is just Spencer! This was the best picture I could get of them. So cute huh?
This is Lance's and my kids on Mallory's blessing day. Preston is mad that I had Xander hold his baby.

Mallory's first car ride. Don't you love the car seat, I got it from a friend of a friend. Love friends like those!
Mallory's first Bath
When we lived in Canada Auntie Sues bought Spencer this down comforter because he was always so cold (possibly because he slept in a closet). So when I started to get Mallory's room ready I wanted to do it as cheap as possible and more so I wanted to use some of the stuff I already have. Preston's room was Lime green, so I have all sorts of buckets and stuff. I had to have some purple in her room because anybody who knows me knows that it has been my favorite color since like birth. Anyways I had to make the hippos a little more girly.

Here is a close up of the sweet shirts I made the boys. They love them and take there job very seriously.

Update

So we are almost all better. Spencer still has a runny nose but other than that he is totally back to being SPENCER. Mallory is finally starting to feel better, Thank goodness. It is so scary when they are sick and so little. We did take her to the ER last Sunday Morning because of fever hopefully she is not trying to get an early start on Spencer's totally ER visit record. Mallory still has a cough which is bad when we lay her down, so she is having a hard time sleeping. When she wakes up to feed in the middle of the night she takes forever to settle down after feeding and to stop coughing, so needless to say I am a little tired.
We still can't find the camera cord so I still can't upload pictures. Sorry.

Oh so sick!

It all started Monday with Preston throwing up. He did it all night and most of the morning the next day. However, Tuesday my mom started to feel sick, which was really bad because she was flying home the next day. By Wednesday Mallory and Spencer both had really bad snoty noses. Wednesday afternoon Preston threw up again at the sushi restaurant and was so worried that our favorite waiter was going to be mad. Thursday morning Preston and Mallory went to doctor. Preston hasn't throw up since but Mallory kept getting worst. Friday she lost her voice and Spencer got a cough. Saturday Mallory is still sick but our neighbor who works at the NCIU checked her out and gave us some heads up on what to watch out for. Saturday morning I woke up fine but by like 10am I was not feeling so hot and have continued to be ill.
So Spencer, Mallory and I will not be going to church tomorrow. Hopefully we (especially little Mallory) feel better soon.
Just in case you are wondering. Garett took his test and is not sure how he feels about it and he is not YET sick!!!!

Another side note. Spencer continues to talk in his sleep but now we have started talking back to him. The other night he was complaining about some boys not sharing cars with him. I told him to go ask them nicely if they would share. After a minute of silence he starts crying again and scream they still won't share. I then said that we would go to the store and buy him his own cars. He was then able to sleep. Something happens like this almost every night. Annoying but funny.
