Thanksgiving

We had another great Thanksgiving weekend with my Brother and his family. It was their turn to come down from DC. This is our 5th Thanksgiving together and over the years we have developed a few traditions. Black Friday is our biggest one. We are professionals and we had another successful year, it started off a little rough but quickly got back on track. I now have one more short trip to wal-mart and then I am all done with Christmas.
Now if I don't mention how incredible the turkey was I would be a horrible person. Garett cooked it on his awesome Grill. It was the best turkey I have ever had.
Here are some pictures of the stuff we did. I couldn't find my camera until the end so there is not that many, sorry.....

All of the kids together, sorry it is on it's side.

Lake Entourage

So I know there are a million things I could post about, things you all maybe wondering about but I don't really want to so I will give quick a quick review and call it good.
Garett is doing well considering all that he has on his plate.
The boys some how got onto the phx time zone and are driving me crazy.
Garett felt the baby kick last night and finally wants to consider names with me.
I am always super tired and feel super huge already.
Our house is trashed and we have tons to do before my bro and fam come for thanksgiving.
Our van has a leak and when I finally drove it yesterday I kept hearing a water sound like boys in the bath tub. I went to go put something in the back and found a swimming pool in there. Seriously, 7 gallons of water. No this is not an over estimate. I have a 1 gallon steam cleaner and I emptied it 7 times. Thank heaven for warranties.
So basically that is our life right now!

Garett's mom - Jane Blaser 1956 - 2009

We hadn't planned on going to AZ until sometime after the baby was born. But life has a way of changing your plans. We are so thankful for everyone who helped get the memorial service together and for all of her friends who could attend. We also look forward to seeing her brothers, sisters, and other family for the services in Ohio.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
BLASER, Jane, died unexpectedly at her home in Tucson, Arizona Saturday, November 7, 2009, at the age of 53. Jane was born in Toledo, Ohio to Mary and Eugene Blaser who have preceded her in death. Jane worked in many different job fields, and had many dreams, but art, nature, and her spirituality were constant features of her daily life. Jane took the greatest pleasure in staying connected with her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Garett and Heather; grandchildren, Preston and Spencer; and siblings, Patricia, Tom, Susan, Kate, Charlie, and Bob. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. at the LDS Chapel on 3750 E. Ft. Lowell Rd., Tucson, AZ 85716, southeast entrance. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jane's memory to a place she loved, Tohono Chul Park (520) 742-6455 ext. 246.

Say What?

The boys say the funniest things....Here is just a few.

Preston asked me, "Mom when I grow up and get married and have babies do I have to be a Garett or can I still be a Preston?"

The boys have discovered the different between good and bad words and they like to point out which words are bad. So one night Garett was telling them a story and he said the work "but". Preston said "Dad but is a bad word" Garett then explained the difference in spelling. "Butt with two t's is bad" Spencer said "tooties, oh you stinky".

I am sure I will be posting more in future but this is all I can remember now!

Our best buddies!

Daxton, Caleb, Preston, and Spencer. We do a lot with the Kimsey family. They are our best buddies and we don't know what we will do when we don't live near them.

Trick of way to much Candy

This year we didn't dress up as a complete family. Our ward/church did something a little different, which is when we usually get to show off our family costumes. So being lazy I decided to take the year off from making Garett and my costumes. The boys and Salta were still decked out. They are Knights in shinning armor slaying the evil dragon!
We even took Salta to a dog costume contest, which she didn't win. She totally should have though. Her costume rocked!(My friend Julie helped a lot.)
This was taken at the Preschool party. They are fearsome right? This is all of the co-op Preschool kids from church. Preston only has 4 kids in his class/group and only one of them is in this picture. The Fair princess Reagan is in his class.
This really isn't Halloween but I think it is a cute picture anyways. However, if they were good during the picture taking then they got a sucker.

Virgina Creeper Trail

Ever since we moved here we have heard about this amazing bike trail. Finally, Garett had a little break from studying and we headed north. It is a 17 mile ride but basically down hill the whole time. I think used my brakes way more then I used my pedals. It was so pretty even though we missed peak color season by a few days.
We stopped for lunch/potty break, good food and really pretty outside eating!
One of the many bridges.
Preston learned how to jump from Rock to Rock!
Going old school.
Salta had the best seat in the house, except for the fact that the boys kept bugging her.
